Concrete
Backed Arches & Lintels

Requirements for forming brick arches and lintels vary considerably and therefore so do our solutions, whatever your requirements, we have the solution.
Designing load bearing complex brick faced lintels and arches can be daunting but not anymore.

A fully structural one piece arch system which removes the need for steel lintels. 25mm brickslips are bonded to the concrete units. Our arches are produced with stainless steel bearing plates for simple installation.

Flat Gauged Arches
A typical flat arch suitable for all kinds of openings. Flat Gauge Arches usually have a Brick & Bat pattern and are between 3 to 5 courses high.
Picture
Segmental Arches
Segmental Arches are made up of a number of identically and slightly angled bricks which form the shape of the arch when assembled.
Picture
Raised Flat Gauge Arch
Like the Flat Gauge Arch, but with an arched rise along the bottom edge, whilst the top of the arch remains flat. These arches also have the option for the rise to be solid with an infill panel.

Solider Lintel
The Soldier Lintel is a simple but effective design and is built with bricks laid on end with stretcher faces showing, as illustrated.
Picture
Semi Circular Arch
Like Segmental Arches each brick is the same, but the shape is continued round to form a semi-circle. These provide the option for a large infill area.

Bulls Eye Arch
Also known as a Circular Arch, the Bulls Eye is an attractive feature and is still very popular. Varieties of bond pattern and keystone height or depth are all possible.

The double header arch is made up of two half bricks to create a full height brick pattern. It is only available at 215mm high with 10mm joints as standard.
Picture

Soldier Course Pattern.

The Soldier Arch is made up of full length bricks cut at different widths to accommodate Segmental or Flat Gauged Arches.
Picture

Single Header Pattern.

The Single Header Arch is made up of half bricks. It is therefore only available at 102mm high. These are supplied with 10mm joints as standard.
