Shrewsbury School
Shrewsbury School included large arches that involved complex brick cutting and fabrication with 12 course high and 3 brick deep soffits. In addition a large arch spanning 12 metres was created across the entrance to the building.

This project had originally been designed to have pre-cast brick faced lintels above the window and door openings in addition to long runs of both straight and curved areas of unsupported 'ribbon' exposed soffit brickwork. The design we provided resulted in a lighter and more cost effective solution.
